Brother Henry Beacham was left 400 glydren and was forgiven what he owed John; In addition to bequests to family members, John left money to various causes at the English Church at Leyden where he was a member. This is the church attended by the future Pilgrims who went to the Plymouth Colony in America on the Mayflower in 1620. Moses Simmons/Simondson of Leyden went to Plymouth in 1621 on the ship Fortune. Moses is a possible ancestor of mine.1,3
