Morris Bowers served in the. Revolutionary War from Aug 9, 177 until March 1780. He served as a private in Cpt Anthony Singleton's company, 1st Artillery regiment of the Continental troops commanded by Col Charles Harrison. He was a fifer and was at Valley Forge with Gen George Washington. He drew no pension.3

Morris died on Dec 30, 1781 in James City Co, VA.1,3,4
