Norfolk Co VA was formed in 1691 from Lower Norfolk Co

 

Prescilla Sugg1 daughter of George Augusta Sugg and Sarah Ives was born c. 1709 in Norfolk Co, VA. guess.1,2

 

William Maund 14 married Prescilla Sugg 17 daughter of George Augusta Sugg and Sarah Ives bef 1726.1

 

 

Her husband, William Maund, died in 1734 at 22 years of age.

On Feb 21, 1733/34 in the will of George Augusta Sugg, Prescilla Sugg was listed as an heir. Priscilla Maund was left the water mill with 10 acres of land and the houses and tenements belonging thereto. If she dies without heirs it goes to daughter Mary Suggs. She was also left a feather bed after the death of George's wife.1

 

Thomas Caton 23 married Prescilla Sugg 26 daughter of George Augusta Sugg and Sarah Ives bef 1735 in Edgecombe Co, NC.

 

On Mar 12, 1735 in Edgecombe Co, NC, Thomas Caton and wife Prescilla Sugg] sold Thomas Sugg 10 acres. Deed Book 12 p 48-50... The land contained a water mill that Priscilla inherited from her father's Will in 1734.3

Beaufort Co NC was renamed in 1739. Previously it was Beaufort Precinct of Bath Co.

 

Jacob Allen married Prescilla Sugg 50 daughter of George Augusta Sugg and Sarah Ives bef 1759.

 

On Oct 23, 1759 in Norfolk Co, VA, Thomas Sugg of Anson Co NC sold Jacob Allen and Prescilla Sugg of Beaufort Co NC 10 acres. DB 19 p 23-25.. Land contains a water mill and was originally willed to Priscilla by her father George Suggs.

Prescilla died c. 1777.1
