There is at least one unidentified male <16 in this census. If the 2nd unidentified male is Samuel and the census is correct, then Samuel would not have been born before 1775.^4,5

However, in the 1810 Stokes Co NC census, Charles and wife have afemale 10-16 living with them which would tend to indicate thatCharles Chitty was married before 1800. This could explain why Nancywas not in Jeremiah's 1800 household.
