Unknown to Drury or unknown to the census taker who may have gotten the other information from some one else.If Drury was born in SC, his father could have been William Averett Sr or Albright Averett, both of whom were in the Richland District of SC in 1790 and both had sons.If Drury was born in GA, John Averett was probably his father. John Averett's minor son, Allen, chose Drury as his guardian after John's death. Therefore I have chosen to show Drury as the son of John but there is no know proof of this relationship. ______.
