John Averett age 18 married Unknown bef 1769. Very little is known about the wife/wives of John Averett. John was married when he arrived in Georgia and requested land in Georgia near John Lott Jr in 1769. His youngest known son, Allen, was born about 1802.4

 

Probable sons were David Averett, Matthew Averett, Drury Averett and Allen Averett, Possible sons were John Averett, Jeremiah Averett and Benjamin Averett. Probable daughters were Mary Averett and Amy Averett. All have been listed as John's children to assist in research. Justification for each is included in their profile.

It is Ordered that the Administrators of said deceased do have leave to sell the same after giving legal notice of such sale in one of the public Gazettes of this State.36
