Prescott Bush Sr.1,2 son of Richard Bush and Mary Jane Prescott was born in 1758 in the area of SC that would become Edgefield Co in 1769.3 In 1769, the 96th District was one of the new districts formed in South Carolina to replace the Anglican parishes.
