Moses lived in St James District, Caswell Co, North Carolina in 1777.2

His name was on a petition, 26 Oct 1779, to the “house of Burgises” from inhabitants of Caswell Co. asking that an equal division be made of the county since it is forty miles in length and twenty wide..2
