Although there are several crosses in the cemetery, there are only 3 marked graves, Matthew, his son-in-law, William Cliatt, and William's wife and Matthew's daughter, Louisa Averett Cliatt.¹⁷

• Above source also states that he died March, 1860 (typo?) and that his death certificate gives his age.
