However William Sr is old enough to be the father or olderbrother of Edward Cox. 1810-1820 William Cox Jr. born.(1830 Pike CoAL census). If William Cox Sr is the father of William Cox Jr(assumed for the present), he would not have started using Sr until1800-1810 when William Jr was born 1820 Moore Co, NC census: Wm CoxSenr on page 26 of taxlist.
