Terrel Casey. Terrell Casey served as a private in Company D of the 6th AL Infantry during the Civil War. The 6th AL Infantry was organized in Montgomeryon May 6, 1861. It was reorganized on Apr 28, 1862 and surrendered at Appomattox Court House VA on Apr 19, 1865.

The appraisal of the Barbour Co AL estate of a Terill/Terrel Casey was recorded in the Barbour Co Orphan Court Record book #14, page 43 on February 9, 1864. The land which is listed as being owned by Teril lin 1864 is the same land that was purchased by Lemuel Casey in 1837. Nancy Tillman was listed as the owner in 1851.
