Johnny B. Casey passed away Sunday, November 15, 2009, at SoutheastAlabama Medical Center in Dothan, after a long illness. He was 78,loved his family and appreciated the simple pleasures life offered.Those we love don't go away but remain always near, still loved, stillmissed and very dear. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday,November 17, 2009 in the Searcy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. JimSmith officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Shiloh Cemetery inClayhatchee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.,Monday, November 16, 2009, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will begrandsons and family friend, Hank Culver. He was a veteran of the U.S.Army - Dixie Division, member of the Free Masons and retired fromDynCorp since 1996. David Masters has a son John W born 1849. Isaac has a sonnamed Jackson born 1848. Both seem to be too young to have married in1861. 1860 there are two Masters' families in Catahoula Parish.Heads of the two familes are D Masters and I Masters. D has a sonnamed John age 12. He would be too young to marry in 1861 unless theage is wrong. I Masters has a son named Jackson who is 10. 1870Catahoula Par LA, Centerville 1w p304: J. B. Masters b. 1798 PA. He, was born about 1842.
