Stansill was dismissed and Anna, relationship unknown,was baptized in this church and was also listed as dead. Membershiproll listed Anne 1808, John 1812, Stansil 1808 and Mary 1808. [102]. She, daughter of Stansell Barbre and Mary, was born about 1795.

Decatur Co GA: J. S. Barbre was on the muster roll of the ArnettRifles, Co 1, 31st Regiment Georgia Volunteers. (Bainbridge UDC rolls)
John S. Barbree: Enlisted as a private in Co. K, 1st Regiment, 1stBrigade, Ga. State Troops October 8, 1861. Mustered out April 8,1862.Enlisted as a private in Co. I, 3lst Regiment Ga. Inf. May 4, 1862.
Union prisoner of war records show he was captured at Gettysburg, Pa.July 5, 1863, and died at Fort Delaware, Del. September 19, 1863.Other records show he was living at Brinson, Ga. after war closed.
In 1860, a John S. Barbarie was listed in the mortality schedule forAlbany, Doughtery Co GA p211. [102] Not sure which John S. Barbariethis is. There are several choices. He, son of Stancil Barbree and Ann Ganer Hester, was born about 1848 in GeorgiaG.
John lived in 1850.3
