. According to an undocumented note by Otho Bruce (deceased), Daniel McCarty and two brothers emigrated to America from Cork County, Ireland.
The likely candidates for the brothers are William (b. abt 1823) and Michael (b. abt 1825). They were all from Ireland and living in the Mobile County AL area around 1850-1860.
Only limited census records have been identified for these families. Unknown McCarty, was born between 1790 and 1800.
