If the Jeremiah Casey's children were born in the order listed in his will, Sarah was the second child and first daughter. Based on census records, she was born about 1772 probably in Dobbs Co NC. Jeremiah was documented in Dobbs Co in 1769 and in 1779.

John O'Brien was also known as John Obryant.2 He was also known as John Obriant.3 He. John O'Brien is the grandson of Lawrence 'Larry' O'Brien and wifeFrances who came to the United States from County Cork, Ireland toQueen Ann County, MD to Anson County, NC to Beaver Dam Creek, RichmondCo NC in the 1750's. He was one of the signers of the petition todivide Anson Co at the Pee Dee River in 1777 and Richmond Co NC wasformed in 1779. [151]
John's father was Tillotson O'Brien who fought in the AmericanRevolution as did his brother Dennis. Tillotson had varied interests,including farming and operating a small leather goods business. Heand his wife Sarah Dawkins had children: Dennis, John, Agnes, andSally.[151]
After his death on Jul 2, 1848, he was buried in Old Hickory Cemeteryso named because of a hickory tree that grew in the center of the twoacre plot.[151]. He, son of Tillotson (RS) O'Brien and Sarah Dawkins, was born on 5 November 1784 in Richmond Co, NCG.

Patty and her brother William Powell O'Brien took over the control ofthe family farm in SC. When her brother Asa came back home fromcollege, he found a farm in NC for her to purchase. She and hermother purchased the farm and she and her sister Lillie worked thefarm and kept it until Lillie married a Sinclair and Martha marriedDaniel Wilkinson who resided on the adjoining farm.
After she and Daniel were married, she took in John Belton McNeill whowas the son of her husband's first cousin, Mary Wilkinson Leach. AlsoDaniel's sisters, Maggie Elizabeth, and Sallie lived on the farm withthem.
Patty was fun loving and had tea time daily and giner snap cookes.The cowbell was rung and everyone came in to rest during that time onthe farm. The kitchen was away from the house. This was to prevent afire from starting and estroying the house.

Patty and her brother William Powell O'Brien took over the control ofthe family farm in SC. When her brother Asa came back home fromcollege, he found a farm in NC for her to purchase. She and hermother purchased the farm and she and her sister Lillie worked thefarm and kept it until Lillie married a Sinclair and Martha marriedDaniel Wilkinson who resided on the adjoining farm.
After she and Daniel were married, she took in John Belton McNeill whowas the son of her husband's first cousin, Mary Wilkinson Leach. AlsoDaniel's sisters, Maggie Elizabeth, and Sallie lived on the farm withthem.
Patty was fun loving and had tea time daily and giner snap cookes.The cowbell was rung and everyone came in to rest during that time onthe farm. The kitchen was away from the house. This was to prevent afire from starting and estroying the house.
