Following the death of her motherMilly, Elizabeth and Simeon moved to Texas with her William and stepmother, Charlotte. Simeon died on 21 1870 at age 40. Thefollowing April 4th, Elizabeth, age 40, married Edward Gerald Didham,age 36. Elizabeth's only child by this marriage is supposed to bearthe Christian names of all of the Captain'ssisters that he had left inLondon. He and Elizabeth lived between Kirbyville and Newton, TX.
